What is the frequency
The resonation that you’re on
Your vibration can be ecstasy
Until you’re dead and gone

But maybe when you leave here
This so called earthly plane
We may not see and hear you
Because you’ll emanate again

Onto a higher level
Both spiritual and divine
And as in the Celestine Prophecy
You’ll be bathed in light sublime

But until the day you die
The empirical world surrounds
The laws of physicality
Will hold you to the ground

I suggest you build your energy
To a higher level
To avoid thoughts negative
You should be very careful

Because that which is like attracts
And therefore it is clear
That you should always vibrate
On a frequency that takes you near

To the life that you intend
You can do it with your thoughts
Focus your attention
And you’ll have the things you’ve sought

“Make a success of living by seeing the goal and aiming for it
unswervingly.” – Cecil B. De Mille

In this life, focus is everything! Your life is determined by the things that take up your attention; the result can be disappointment and desperation, or happiness and blissful joy. It is a choice we have to make there are thousands of things happening around us every day, but we can only pay attention to between three or seven of them at a time.

When you go to a party and there is a room full of people, you may see an argument taking place, red faces of anger, pointing fingers, harsh tones at one side of the room. However by looking the other way at the same party you could see some other people smiling and laughing, arms wrapped around one another dancing.

If someone was to ask if the party was a good one, the reply would be defined by which direction you looked. By focusing on the pleasant things that happen in life, it doesn’t mean that there aren’t any negative ones, but your personal experience of life will be much more enjoyable and positive.

If the prime focus of your life is a goal or goals that you are aiming for, it will be less likely that you will be distracted and more likely that you will become dedicated to the life of your choosing, and that you will go on to experience a life of joy and happiness.

Back to the office

“Unless you are willing to drench yourself in your work beyond
the capacity of the average man, you are just not cut out for
positions at the top.” – J.C. Penny

I don’t know what you thought when you read these words of J.C. Penny, but I can tell you how I felt. No one has ever had a fulfilled life by spending more time at the office! If the cost of a job at the top really was to be “drenched in your work,” then you can count me out!

However, I know that many people have risen to the top of their professions and had an active family and social life too! It’s not always about working harder, but working smarter that really gets things done and leaves you time to pursue other things.

If the work you do is very demanding, then make sure it is also very fulfilling too! If you do what you love, then you’ll love what you do! If you consider your work to be demeaning or too demanding then in my opinion you need to change job, unless when you crawl into bed each night you feel totally fulfilled!

Those who rise to the top are in my opinion those who love what they do and find great fulfilment in their work! If you are struggling to rise to the top and it just feels like a rat race you’ve got yourself involved with, maybe it’s time to think about the direction your life is going?
